South Regional Elite Teams

The Black Gold/South Edmonton region has always been home to incredible players and strong clubs. The challenge, however, is that all this talent has often been divided across multiple organizations.

That’s why APEX and BGV—the two longest-standing clubs in the region—have partnered to create regional teams in every age group.

These are not APEX or BGV teams. They are their own independent regional teams with:

Unique jerseys (three styles) and Regional team swag
Separate practice times and schedules
Dedicated management from both clubs working together

Because of this, it doesn’t matter which club you played for last season—everyone starts here. These tryouts are your first stop! And don’t worry: they’re scheduled early enough in the day so that if you aren’t selected, you’ll still have time to attend other tryouts.

Registration for the National tournament (15U-18U)
Extra team gear

APEX and BGV will each host 14U Competitive Teams, built to develop and strengthen players into top candidates for the Regional Program.

These teams will train on similar schedules and follow a development pathway designed to prepare athletes for the intensity and standards of the Regional level.

Tryouts for both programs will be held back-to-back at the LRC—so don’t miss your chance to show what you’ve got!
