Apex Field Lacrosse

Apex Field Lacrosse will return to the field for the 2022 season at then end May.  Our format is built to start the with a focus on skills for both new and advanced players, transitioning to concepts/and systems, and finally we will move to team practices and full game play to prepare our players for travel opportunities.  Please read below for detailed information on each session.

Phase 1 - Skills and Conditioning

Phase 2 - Concepts/Systems

Phase 3 - Practices, Game Play

Return to field lacrosse will begin with position specific skill sessions to build player capacity in key fundamentals and overall conditioning in preparation for team assignment and competition into late summer. These sessions will allow new players to learn the basics before they are introduced to more advanced concepts and more experienced players to increase their skills through elite coaching and high volume repetition.

Players will be evaluated before being assigned to groups/teams for the remainder of the season. Evaluation and team assignments will be completed by Apex Staff

After team Assignments are completed, players will begin team practices. Using the skill foundations built through position specific sessions, focus will shift towards learning offensive, defensive, and transition concepts/systems in preparation for gameplay.

Team practices and gameplay will continue in preparation for travel and competition both locally and outside of the province. Details on game play and travel opportunities will be announced once they become available.
